Resolved Question: What can I do when the city doesn’t list a low water crossing? (Has left me fearing my life and without a car)?
I was heading home in heavy rain, about to cross the bridge when I hit the water from the overflowing creek. My car stalled and almost went over the creek due to the river of rainwater (very scary!) The fire department came to get me and my passenger. When I made it home I realized there was no indication that the bridge is a low water crossing, No where in my neighborhood. There also wasn’t any roadblocks that would have stopped me from heading down that street. I know it had been raining serveral hours and I avoided certian roads because I knew they would flood. My car is now not functioning. Would the city be responsible?

Resolved Question: A funny thing happened on the way to the Forum (political forum)?
We had a hell of a flood here in Georgia. You may have seen it on the news. Several lives lost and thousands of homes damaged. My county was one of the hardest hit.
About a mile north of my neighborhood an earthen dam gave way and small creeks that were normally 15 to 20 ft wide became fast moving rivers three football fields wide.
Neighbors went into action helping neighbors. By daylight the worst hit areas had vehicles lined up near them and you saw nothing but azzholz and elbowz.
I had my truck out there pulling vehicles out of the mud, until I got stuck and had to be pulled out myself. The funny thing is no one asked ..are you a democrat..are you a republican..
The only thing we gave each other a hard time about was who pulled who’s Chevy out with their Ford or vise versa. Things did get a little tense when a lady driving a Toyota backed up to pull out one O’l Boy driving a Jeep Wrangler though
No one asked “Where the hell is FEMA?” We saw a few police cars drive by and wave like ‘I guess you folks have this under control’. Today we’ve been hauling off wet carpet and trash etc. Those who have electricity are keeping perishables for other folks. Keeping their kids so they have a place to stay that has air conditioning (almost a necessity here in Ga) and so they can get their homes back together.
I don’t have a clever way to turn this into a question accept to say..What do you think?
please ignore my spelling, it’s been a long 36 hours lol.
I never heard Sonny Perdue’s name mentioned either

Resolved Question: Is it true American state of Alabama was named for lost Muslims, the Ali-bamu?
Here are some interesting things about Muslims and Native Americans.
Maiyami tribe of Florida lends us name Miami, very similar to Imami.
The state of Alabama is named for the Alibamu who are sometimes also called the Alabama.
Ali bamu translates as “we Ali” (or “we of Ali”) if you use the Hausa language which if from Africa.
Speaking of migrations, tribes with names of Medina and Makah were found in Pacific Northwest part of U.S.

“The descendants of many of the Muslim visitors of North America are members in many of our present day Indian tribes. Some of the tribes are the Alibamu tribe of Alabama, the Apaches, Anasazi, Arawak, Arikana, the Black Indians of the Schuylkill River area in New York, the Cherokees, Creeks, the Makkahs, Mahigans, Mohanets, the Nanticokes, the Seminoles, the Zulus, and the Zuni.
There are more than 500 names of places, villages, streets, towns, cities, lakes, rivers, etc . . . in the United States which are derived from Islamic and Arabic roots. Like Mecca, Indiana; Medina, N Y; Medina, OH; Medina, TX; Toledo, OH; Mahomet, IL; Islamorada, FL, and Tallahassee, FL.”
